Hello La Niña: Preparation for rainy season

Traveling is relaxing and enjoyable especially when you are a student taking a vacation from loads of schoolworks, or, if you are an employee of a tiring daily work routine, negative environment, and sleepless shifts. That's why choosing your desired tour package gives you a room to breath and excitement that finally it is good to take a break from time to time.


But, what if in your vacation trip you are welcomed by a heavy rain? What will you do? Surely you will be upset, and will be either planning to cancel your trip or just stay in your hotel and let the rainy days pass.



Worry no more wanderer, we always got your back!



Don't wait for this kind of scenario when traveling and follow our tips to have a unique and enjoyable travel despite of the rainy season!



Here's some tips:


1. Pack appropriately


Always include compact umbrella for convenience and light-weight quick protection, and a thin foldable raincoats, or  waterproof windbreakers. There are a lot of these products being sold that are compact, light weight, and can carry like a foldable umbrella.


2. Use waterproof backpack and bags


Sometimes weather is unpredictable so you always need to be ready anytime so the best option is to use a waterproof backpack to protect your overall things during your trip, and don't forget to put your travel documents or other smaller things in a zip-lock to keep them dry.



3. Plan activities wisely


Always include indoor activities such as museums, galleries, markets or malls in your itinerary to enjoy your tour despite the changes in weather. Furthermore, it is advisable for you to identify the rainy season of a particular place you want to visit before going in there to avoid unneccessary events.

4. Stay informed


Always make sure you have regularly check the weather forecast and stay updated on any potential risks. Don't forget to seek advice from locals, or your tour guide for the best place place to visit during the rain.



5. Stay safe


Avoid areas prone to floods, or landslides, and use a reliable transportation services that can be use in rainy conditions safely. Also, don't forget to bring your own first aid kit with basic medicines, and insect repellant.
